Visit Story:

I had always heard of the picturesque hill station of Kasauli in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, but it wasn't until last summer that I finally had the opportunity to visit this charming destination. As we made our way up the winding roads, surrounded by lush green forests and misty mountains, I knew we were in for a treat.

Our first stop was Monkey Point, the highest point in Kasauli. As we made our way up the steep climb, we were greeted by panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. But what truly took our breath away was the sight of hundreds of monkeys jumping and swinging from tree to tree. We couldn't resist the urge to take a few pictures, and the monkeys seemed to be more than happy to pose for us.

Next, we headed to the Christ Church, a beautiful Gothic church located in the heart of Kasauli town. As we stepped inside, we were struck by the stunning stained-glass windows and the serene atmosphere. It was hard to believe that this peaceful church had witnessed so much history and turmoil over the years.

After exploring the town center, we decided to take a leisurely stroll along the Gilbert Trail, a scenic path that winds its way through the hills and forests. The trail was teeming with colorful birds, butterflies, and other wildlife, and we found ourselves stopping every few steps to admire the beauty of nature around us.

As the sun began to set, we made our way to the Kasauli Brewery, one of the oldest breweries in Asia. We were treated to a tour of the brewery, and we even got to taste some of their famous handcrafted beers and spirits. We sat back, enjoying the drinks and the beautiful views of the surrounding hills, feeling truly content and relaxed.

Over the next few days, we continued to explore Kasauli, trying out local delicacies like Himachali Dham and Madra, and taking in the breathtaking views of the Himalayan range. But what stayed with me long after we left Kasauli was the sense of peace and tranquility that I had experienced during my time there. In the midst of the chaos and noise of everyday life, it was refreshing to find a place that could provide such a sense of calm and serenity. And I knew that I would be back to Kasauli again someday, to find that same sense of peace and renewal.
